Ocean Kayak Mysto Review

Ocean Kayak Mysto

The Mysto is Ocean Kayak's answer to the Feel Free Nomad and the Perception Scooter sit on tops. At approx 3m in length (or 9' 9" in old money) it is the ideal size for an all-round Sit on Top Kayak.

Team: The Erk

Touring

Dagger Blackwater 10.5

Dagger Blackwater 10.5

We have watched this kayak evolve for a number of years, and have always liked it. We like its shape, its design features and the way it feels. Read the full review to find out more.

Location: Looe, Cornwall
Team: Old Duffer, Old Codger & Guests

Venture Kayaks Flex 11 Review

Venture Kayaks Flex 11

Recreational paddling is what we do and the Venture Flex 11 is as good a way to do it as any. Having both paddled the boat many times but without a camera we knew what to expect. the complication on this trip was paddling "guard ship" to the Fridge Fairy in her brand new Elie Strait 120.

Location: Looe, Cornwall
Team: Old Duffer & Old Codger

Pyranha Fusion Review

Pyranha Fusion

A crossover kayak which does a good job at both flat water touring and whitewater.

Location: South Coast of Cornwall & River Dart, South Devon
Team: Duffer, Codger, Mike (K&P)

Venture Kayaks Easky Review

Venture Kayaks Easky 13 & Venture Kayaks Easky 15

The Easky 13 fully justifies its place in the Venture Kayaks line up, providing a stable and comfortable paddle for a bigger paddler at an affordable price.

Location: River Tamar, South Devon
Team: Duffer, Codger, Erk

Elie Strait Review

Elie Strait 120 & Elie Strait 140

The Elie 120 is the latest offering from Elie kayaks. I took one out on my search for my perfect kayak and was very happy I did!

Location: River Tamar, South Devon & Looe, Cornwall
Team: Old Duffer, The Erk, Old Codger, Fridge Fairy

Fishing

Feel Free Moken Review

Feel Free Moken 10 & Feel Free Moken 12

The Moken 10 is the smallest fishing kayak in the Feel Free range. That does not stop it from being a great fishing kayak by any stretch however, as the team proves. A shorter, wider profile making it super stable does not compromise speed or deck space.

Location: Ireland
Team: Old Duffer & Fridge Fairy

Wildnerness Systems Tarpon Review

Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100 & Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120

The Feel Free Moken 10 and Moken 12 offering fantastic fishing kayaks in two styles. A shorter, wider profile makes the Moken 10 super stable does and not compromise speed or deck space. The Moken 12 is the big brother, with all sorts of handy features to keep you happy on the water.

Location: Ireland
Team: Old Duffer & Fridge Fairy
